ACTING:  previous stage performances include: It's a Wonderful Life Live Radio Play (Mary Hatch), Cabaret (Sally Bowles), As You Like It (Jacques), The Shadow Box (Felicity), Macbeth (Witch III), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Suzanne) and 2008 Connecticut Critics Circle Award Nominee for play of the year The Shape of Things (Jenny) with Stamford Theatre Works. In 2010, she was the recipient of the Best Featured Actress Subscriber Award from Square One Theatre for her performance as Killane Farrell in The Clearing. Tess holds a B.A. in English/Theatre and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Fairfield University and has studied acting at HB Studios.

WRITING: short fiction has appeared in The Green Mountains Review and APIARY online Magazine. She is currently at work on a collection of short stories, a one-woman play, and other pieces for the stage and screen. Tess also holds a postgrad certificate in Rhetoric and Composition pedagogy and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Composition (I & II) at Fairfield University. She also does grant and fundraising writing.

ART: At the Marchutz School of Painting and Drawing, in Aix-en-Provence, France, Tess studied impressionistic painting and has continued study at the Silvermine Arts Center and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking.

BEES: A state of CT registered beekeeper and owner/operator of Hive and Harrow, Tess is mentor to the Ogden House Honey Bee Preservation Project.
